OIA Global is privately held by LDI, Ltd.Summary: Lead – Data Integrations DeveloperThe Lead Data Integrations Developer is responsible for overseeing and managing the design, development, and deployment of middleware solutions that integrate various internal and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
This position will work with a team of engineers, developers, and analysts, providing technical guidance, strategy, and direction on integration projects using platforms like MuleSoft, Boomi, Chain.io, or other industry-standard middleware solutions.
The role requires a deep understanding of integration best practices, middleware architecture, and the ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions meet organizational needs.Duties and Responsibilities :Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design integration solutions using middleware platforms (e.g., Boomi, Cleo, IBM, Oracle OIC).Design and oversee the implementation of integration solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and best practices.Establish and enforce standards and processes for developing, testing, and deploying integrations.Provide detailed estimates and work breakdown structure for projects and proposalsDevelopment & Deployment: Lead the development of middleware integrations, including system-to-system data exchange, API management, and workflow automation across all org domains, e.g., CRM, ERP, HCM.Provide technical oversight and code reviews for the integration team to ensure high-quality code and scalable solutions.Develop reusable integration components, templates, and patterns to ensure efficiency and standardization across projects.Coordinate with DevOps and IT operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of integration solutions.Project & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for integration-related projects, working closely with business stakeholders to define integration needs and deliverables.Prioritize and manage the integration project backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and resource availability.Lead project planning, estimation, and timeline development for integration initiatives.Identify opportunities to optimize integration processes, improve performance, and reduce costs.Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to integration and middleware platforms.Drive continuous improvement in integration practices by implementing automation, governance, and operational monitoring solutions.Required Skills and Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Technical Expertise:Experience with API Management platformsExperience with A2A (Design and implement Application-to-Application) solutionsExperience with B2B (Business-to-Business) integration solutionsExperience explaining the benefits of various application integration patternsFamiliarity with cloud-based and on-premises enterprise applications such as: NetSuite, SAP, Oracle ERP, Salesforce, Dynamics AX/CRM, Workday, etc.Experience setting up CI/CD PipelineExperience with API Testing methodologiesExperience with API-Led 3-tier architecturesUnderstanding of structured and/or unstructured databases and data models like MS SQL, My SQL, Postgress, Mongo DB, Hadoop, etc.Experience in delivering real-time, event-driven, and batch integration solutionsBackground in API design, application architecture, design, and object modelingStrong understanding of cloud computing and micro-services architecturesStrong problem-solving and software triage skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environmentDemonstrated skills in helping negotiate priorities and resolving conflicts among project stakeholders (such as customers, product management, and engineering)Knowledge of QA processes and test-driven developmentProblem Solving & Strategic Thinking:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and drive strategic initiatives related to integration and middleware.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; a Master's degree is a plus.4+ years prior experience developing solutions on integration platforms, e.g., Oracle OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO, IBM, or similar products7+ years of experience in middleware integrations and architecture2+ years in a lead or senior role.Experience in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing industries is preferred.Relevant certifications in middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer/Architect, Boomi Professional Developer) are highly desirable.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMinimal to no travel required, up to once per QuarterThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
