Are you ambitious, talented and would be interested in an exciting opportunity as Road Project Specialist for the EMEA region?
OIA Global has an exciting opening within the Road Product Team department based in Budapest where the Road Product Specialist will work closely with all other Operations teams in other regions.
You will support the branches, products, sales teams and verticals of the EMEA Region with your expertise and skillset to improve and share buying power & options, haulier contacts, selling rate proposals and tender management.
You will also manage the operational implementation of new businesses and be the Subject Matter Expert with general professional road knowledge for the region.
You will be responsible for:Researching and planning the most appropriate routing for the shipment.Ensuring that our technology platform is used to create/maintain highly efficient processes.Adhering to company-wide quality processes are implemented and maintained.Actively engaging with our Quality Management System to ensure compliance with industry leading standards, such as AEO and ISO.Ensuring that successful supplier relationships are in place.Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packaging specifications, and compliance with overseas countries' regulations and fiscal regimes.Maintaining visibility and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports, statistical and unit cost analysis.Completing customs formalities or sub-contracting services.Negotiate contracts, transportation and handling costs.Work closely with sales and pricing teams to provide timely quotes.Actively support and manage EMEA roadfreight tenders with buying / suggested selling rates.Arrange insurance and assist the client in the event of a claim.Provide advice on the most commercially viable method of transporting goods.Work closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure smooth operations to deadlines.Deliver (alternative) solutions to customers where possible to minimize the impact on the scheduled delivery upon changes to the schedule.Support any road related inquiries from branches / verticals / sales and pricing teams with buying / suggested selling rates.Share sourcing options & haulier contacts with branches / verticals / sales and pricing teams if required.Support the region with professional knowledge & information in related topics.What we need from you:Good technical expertise / experience on roadfreight (quoting, planning and execution).Excellent and proactive communication & negotiation skills.Innovative and constantly seeking improvement on current processes.Able to work to deadlines and with agility and high attention to detail.Strong problem-solving and analytical skillset.Take ownership and initiatives at work, ambitious, self-motivated, and result-oriented.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with customers and build rapport.What we can offer you:Training and development.Friendly, fun and relaxed culture.Access to OIA University 1000's of courses for personal and professional development.Milestone recognition and participation in various employee recognition competitions.
