Summary: The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, BI tools, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities: Develop code that meets the standards and guidelines agreed on by the digital product group.Follow the digital product group's general documentation/code commenting standards.Participate in all Agile team ceremonies.Continuously monitor and tune existing solutions to ensure maximum performance and reliability.Test code to ensure it passes the acceptance criteria of the assigned work item.Participate in story planning and estimation.Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Create and maintain reports and dashboards using reporting tools such as Power BI and SSRS.Confirm that all available automation tests pass before sending the work item on to QA.Maintain security access settings for shared environment.Ownership of business segments promoted dataflows and certified datasets.Maintenance and governance of business segment data dictionary and metrics glossary.Citizen Developer mentorship and data literacy training.Support business partners within the segment in advanced analytics.Support data & analytics core team on strategic reporting initiatives.Design and develop data models using relational and dimensional modeling techniques.Develop and maintain documentation of BI solutions, including data dictionaries, ETL process flows, and user guides.Provide training and support to business users on BI solutions and tools.Document and iterate on intake and development processes to continuously improve quality and integrity of usable product.Develop transition plans of legacy reports to curated dataflows and prototype, pilot, and production workspaces.Education and Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science, business administration, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in developing BI solutions, including ETL processes, data modeling, and reporting.Skills and Abilities: Ability to debug code with assistance from another developer.Ability to follow specific requirements from an analyst when developing code.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Able to use Git to push, pull, and merge code.Proficient in SQL and experienced with SQL Server, Azure SQL, or similar databases.Familiarity with dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts.Willingness to work with indistinct requirements from an analyst when developing code.Strong ability to communicate effectively (written or verbal), with excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.Highly organized and process-oriented.Ability to adapt and change processes to keep pace with evolving business requirements.Strong technical skills including but not limited to Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.Exceptional organizational and time management skills to successfully respond to urgent situations.Key Attributes: Flexibility: Adaptable to changing priorities and dynamic environments; comfortable working across time zones and cultures.Ambition: Driven to achieve marketing goals; able to work independently and as part of a global team.Togetherness: Collaborative, working effectively with teams across regions.Excellence: Committed to high-quality work, continuous improvement, and strong organizational skills.OIA Global is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
