Then you are exactly who we are looking for!This role is hybrid with flexibility to work virtually and in our Rio de Janeiro office.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likePrimary role is to provide catastrophe modelling support across projects.Work with other team members assigned to a client (brokers, actuaries, Rating Agency and others)Provide meaningful analysis; explain standard analyses with professional written and verbal communicationProvide real-time loss estimates of actual catastrophic events in Latin America.Further develop understanding of (re)insurance terminologyTypes of reinsurance products, business applications of reinsurance, why clients utilize reinsuranceHow terms and conditions impact modelling outputTypes of construction, occupancy, secondary modifiers and other location details that impact modelled resultsPrepare client-ready presentationsSkills and experience that will lead to successMinimum Education required: Degree in the field of Actuarial, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree.Advanced user of Excel, Access and PowerPointSQL knowledge preferred but not requiredBilingual English/Portuguese requiredTake ownership and responsibility of tasks, be driven independently and proactivelyExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate well with others externally and internally.
