Blades Procurement is responsible for the management and development of the global supplier base within the Blades product area.
The Department is split into 3 commodities with different system and materials responsibilities, where Blades Structural Materials are one of 2 material areas, covering Carbon, Core Materials, and Chemicals.The Blades procurement team works in a matrix organization with colleagues located in India, China, Portugal, Denmark, Brazil, Mexico, and the US.
Procurement work within Vestas is managed through cross-functional teams in the context of Module and Category Management.
