Position Overview: Position : Category Sales Lead – Insulation & Coating Location: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Industry: Maritime and Offshore Compensation: Competitive salary to be agreed As the Category Sales Lead for Insulation & Coating , you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and building lasting client relationships.
You'll be responsible for achieving sales targets, shaping the future of our category strategy, and making a direct contribution to our company's success.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the maritime and offshore industries to drive business growth.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities with established Brazilian end-customers and potential new suppliers.
Sales Target Achievement: Set, meet, and aim to exceed sales goals, consistently contributing to the overall success of the company.
Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Administration, International Relations, Production Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the maritime and offshore industry, preferably in sales, supply chain, or technical areas.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of technical insulation and/or coating for offshore platforms in Brazil.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant system tools.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
Location: Based in Rio de Janeiro or willing to relocate.
Desired Skills: Communication & Negotiation : Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in teams.
Results-Driven: Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with OIC, platform owners, shipowners, and shipyards is a strong plus.
Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM/ERP systems, international logistics, import/export processes, and event management is advantageous.
Additional Skills: Knowledge of procurement platforms such as Petronect, SAP Ariba, Coupa, and Shipserv is a plus.
