Hybrid: for this position is required to be on site 3x/week at São Caetano do Sul plant
Role: As a manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall procurement activities, development of sourcing strategy, negotiation of contracts and execution of budget.
As a leader, you will provide technical guidance to the team for successful execution of vehicle programs.
You will take lead on the development of new products, processes, standards, or operational plans.
This position also provides support for the organization's business strategies with a direct impact on business and function overall results.
What you will do (responsibilities): Develop and execute a comprehensive business planLead business plan/tactics to reach overall global targets on a day-to-day basisWork with global teams in all Regions in developing commodity strategies and sourcing recommendations for specified commodity, considering regional specifics.
This also includes early Supplier Engagement and Strategic SourcingOversee, monitor and coach employees and build effective global teamCollaborate with Engineering, CCA and other internal partners to clarify prerequisites and to drive cost reductionAnalyze and apply appropriate tools, i.e.
cost models, benchmarking, global competitive sourcing, value chain analysis, supplier negotiations, engineering change cost containment, technical cost reduction, part/system reuse, etc.Handle supplier relationships and operational issuesAdditional Job DescriptionYour skills and abilities (required qualifications): Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Engineering or Similar.MBA will be a plus.Advanced Presentation skills (PowerPoint, Excel & Power BI)Solid previous team management experienceNegotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers effectively.Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures.Project Management: Capability to manage multiple projects and timelines efficiently.Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.Supplier Relationship Management: Skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions quickly.Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations related to aftersales and accessories.
