JOB DESCRIPTION
Across Capital is looking for an exceptional individual to join our tight-knit team in our São Paulo office as a COO & CFO.
This position will be responsible for handling all financial and day-to-day operations of the firm.
We are specifically looking for a technical candidate with previous experience managing fund operations (ideally with experience both with Delaware and Brazil-domiciled structures).
The COO / CFO should be comfortable within a fast-paced work environment as well as possess a strong work ethic, pride of ownership in their work, and high standards for themselves and their colleagues.
The person should also be comfortable speaking and dealing with fund administrators, auditors, and supporting internal/back office tasks.
The role is extremely collaborative and is central to powering our unique firm processes, meaning this individual will regularly work with leadership to solve our most pressing operations and financial needs.
Responsibilities:
Fund Admin: Be the point of contact for external service providers (fund administrator, auditors, and tax) and coordinate important internal operations (such as capital calls, co-investments, and related tasks)
Back Office: Provide operational support including managing payments, regulatory compliance, trip scheduling, and other tasks
Fund Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting templates and dashboards to streamline the reporting process
Firm building: Support with events, PR, and other firm-building initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge and curiosity in investment practices, procedures, reporting, and fund operations
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills that can thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in English and Portuguese.
Previous experience with fund admin & back office
Team-oriented and self-starter. Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment
