The company has served climate leaders such as Salesforce, Nespresso, Shopify and Boston Consulting Group and is backed by investors including Lowercarbon Capital, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Future Positive, Amazon Climate Pledge Fund, Y Combinator and Deutsche Telekom.What you bring to the roleExperience leading finance at venture-backed, post-series B technology startups of at least 10 years, encompassing FP&A, Strategic Finance, Capital Markets, Legal, HR, etc.Experience in financial institutions such as investment banks, venture or private equity where insight into capital markets was gained.Experience with investor relations and communicating with a board of directorsDemonstrated success in raising various forms of capital, including equity, debt, project finance, tax credits, and grantsClear strategic thinking and experience designing and refining strong business modelsExcellent leadership and communication skills with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated success hiring, recruiting and managing high-performing teamsExperience scaling companies with effective standard procedures, while fostering a positive culture for innovationExperience managing international operations and multiple subsidiariesExperience on carbon markets, climate tech or sustainability a plusPassion for climate action and nature conservationWhat you will be responsible for:Partner with the CEO to shape the company's strategy from a financial point of view, including capital formation and allocation, short and long-term financial planning, analysis and execution.Leading fundraising efforts, managing investor relations, and handling capital markets strategies, including fund formation, project finance and strategic partnerships with capital managers.Oversee strategic financial operations, budgeting, forecasting and general cash flow management and reporting.Build and manage teams to execute on all key areas under management.Conduct financial analysis, identify opportunities and risks, and recommend strategies to mitigate risksWork with executives across the organization, helping them develop strategic plans and provide analytical support on the execution of key projects.Lead financial reporting, treasury, tax, and audit functions across multiple entities.Ensure robust financial controls and policies are in place to support scalability and operational excellence and provide guidance on HR and Legal functions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
