The Client Consultant plays a critical and unique role at Euromonitor International. Working from a named list of existing clients within the Global Fortune 500, Client Consultants are expected to expand and create new relationships across the organization leveraging our entire suite of services. This often involves engaging multiple business units and various functions including strategy, consumer insights, marketing, innovation, finance, etc. Solutions include data and trend analysis from existing syndicated databases as well as ad hoc capabilities to address specific priorities.The Client Consultant primarily wears three hats:An entrepreneur. As a self-driven and intellectually curious executive, they enjoy hearing challenges from senior executives, questioning to understand the big picture, and then building a solution that involves multiple products and capabilities. Resourcefulness, flexibility, and innovation are key characteristics of interest. Being an entrepreneur also requires the ability to allocate internal resources, communicating effectively with internal and regional teams.A global strategist. Ability to understand and effectively converse about global and broad initiatives with the ability to designate the best short- and long-term partnership opportunities. Creating proactive plans to become a key influencer within client organizations.An experienced and self-driven sales professional. It is important to not only achieve, but take personal accountability to exceed sales targets, looking to establish new ways of entrenching Euromonitor's services within existing relationships. Able to apply and design unique solutions using all available resources to address client needs. Able to map, network, and penetrate a client's organizational structure as well as understand key business processes like strategic planning, innovation funnels, and new market entry strategies. Frequently challenge clients to constructively broaden their perspective. Uses a refined consultative approach to identify points of engagement, going beyond providing data to applying our industry insights for problem solving. Seeking areas to assist with urgent projects but also building consistent, structured, and predictable points of engagement. Expanding our contacts beyond existing sources, developing a tailored value proposition for various areas within an organization. Able to use polite persistence to engage difficult to reach senior executives, following through on long term projects as well as identifying multiple ways to assist/address obstacles in the process along the way. Negotiation & support of closing syndicated and consulting/ad hoc proposals. Ability to efficiently perform in role, achieving targets while taking advantage of our flexible culture of work/life balance. Minimum Requirements: 3yrs+ of sales experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Goal-oriented and driven by targets and KPIs. Work well under pressure and in a self-driven environment. International perspective and experience with global companies. Highly organized with excellent time management, managing numerous contacts including scheduling, follow up, and establishing frequent points of interaction. General curiosity about businesses opportunities and challenges. Professional attitude to discuss intelligently with c-level executives. Bachelor's degree required; MBA will accelerate your success.
