Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa's network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as improving profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments and managing risk.
This role includes identifying and researching business opportunities, analyzing market trends, maintaining knowledge of the competitive landscape, and formulating business strategies to ensure companies growth and profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing strategic plans and decisions with the executive team.
- Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and understanding the market trends.
- Collaborating with team members to implement and monitor strategic initiatives.
- Analyzing the success of strategic initiatives and making necessary adjustments.
- Creating detailed reports of strategic plans and presenting them to the executive team.
- Overseeing the development of high-level business strategies and plans.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
**Qualifications**
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Prior experience at large management consulting firm or Financial Institution
- Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
- Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
- Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills
- Ability to use both formal and informal influencing skills inside and outside the organization
- Accomplished range of skill from high-level critical thinking to working with external partners
- Ability to collaborate and lead in a team environment
