AHRI is always looking for talented and motivated staff to join our multidisciplinary team. Description: Responsible for data collection tasks from fixed/mobile clinics and individuals. Data collection will be organised in sequential clusters and involves recording of responses on RedCap electronic platform and/or collection of biomarkers such as blood specimens in the form of a dried blood sample (DBS), point of care tests including HIV Pre and Post counselling and testing.
Overview of Duties: Identify the individuals within the prepopulated list on REDCap who have been selected for the multilevel HIV prevention programme.Register Multi level HIV Prevention programme participant in the mobile unit and or Fixed clinicsTrack participants for follow-ups and secure appointment as instructed by Supervisor and Study Coordinator.Data collection on RedCap electronic platform.Perform first line data quality control.Participate in regular and ad hoc training and meetings for data collection.Educate research participants on AHRI research activities.Report to line manager new developments to ensure improvement between AHRI, community, and Department of Health.Minimum Qualifications National Senior certificate (Grade 12)A 10-Day HIV Counselling Certificate from a registered training providerA valid driver's licence and must have been driving for two (2) years or longerMinimum Experience At least 2 years' experience in research or surveillance data collectionFamiliarity with data collection and capturing in a research environmentComputer Literacy (MS Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint)Fluency in IsiZulu and English (written and oral)Worker Type: Employee
