Job DescriptionReporting to the Cluster Director of Revenue, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceBook and enter room reservation requests using the Property Management SystemEnter rooming lists while ensuring accuracy, as requiredUpdate reservations ensuring a flawless check in and check out processEnsure revenue is maximized by up-selling guest rooms and recommending hotel facilitiesEnsure PMS maintenance is executed accurately and in a timely manner such as room rate, room types, etc.Send out morning reports with daily pick-up, Reservations Made Yesterday, etc.Conduct a daily check of Reservations Made YesterdayKeep Online Travel Agencies bookings and extranet in checkAudit and process Travel Agencies commissions in a timely mannerCheck daily the cancellation and no show report and liaise with Front Office to process chargesLiaise with Sales and other departments as requiredAnswer telephone and email inquiries in a timely mannerAssist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayFollow department policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety policiesOther duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious customer related experience requiredPrevious Property Manager System experience preferredPrevious Reservation experiences for 2 years is requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Windows applications requiredMust be able to type 25 words per minuteStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesLuxury hotel sales experience, having had varied market mix experienceAdditional InformationVisa Requirements:Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in the United Arab Emirates.
