Area of Responsibility

Set up and operate CNC machines and conventional machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
Understand the specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
Translate instructions into computer commands so that the machine can perform the correct function.
Prepare raw materials and parts on the machines.
Supervise machines while tasks are being performed and make any necessary adjustments to produce the best result.
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them to requirements to determine if the process was completed correctly.
Check and maintain machines daily to ensure functionality.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC operator.
Skill in operating CNC machines and tools, as well as precision measuring tools.
Ability to read and interpret documents and mechanical drawings.
Computer experience, basic knowledge of CNC programming – Siemens control and CAD/CAM.
Mechanical aptitude and good mathematical skills.
A keen eye for detail and a results-oriented approach.
Good communication skills.
