Job Summary: The EHS (Health, Occupational Safety, Environment and Process Safety) Coordinator will apply technical knowledge to implement corporate standards and deal with dangerous processes. The Coordinator will also use his experience with people management to influence and lead our security, environmental, and fire teams on a daily basis.Main Responsibilities:Management of a team of safety technicians, environmental analysts, and firefighters.Assess EHS risks, opportunities, impacts, standards, and regulations and advise on potential impacts to internal and external stakeholders.Lead the implementation of programs and processes in alignment with government EHS regulation, International Standard Organization (ISO) management system, and corporate guidelines.Implement EHS activities, including emergency response plan, incident/accident management, training implementation, and performance management.Provide operational leadership for audit, inspection, and risk assessment processes.Prepare/control the annual CEB of the security sector.Promote the creation of operational and management committees focused on occupational safety.Identify situations with the potential to cause occupational illnesses, participating with the areas involved in redefining the way of working or equipment operation criteria.Contribute to EHS risk management by identifying and evaluating high-risk processes, performing EHS risk analysis, and taking the appropriate action plan to ensure compliance standards are met.Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.You will also spend time completing the same tasks as the employees on your team.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering with active CREA / SESMET.Experience in systems in the area of EHS and team management/leadership.Desirable: Postgraduate degree in Process Safety, Environment, Occupational Hygiene, or related areas.Advanced English.
