As a Communications Senior Manager for South Cone, you will lead and guard the reputation of The Coca-Cola Company and its brands in the region with a focus on national and regional media, local government and non-governmental organizations, pressure groups and employees.
**What You'll Do for Us**
- Lead the South leadership communications implementation strategy to protect and promote our business, to gain control of the health-related debate and to help build and activate a third-party advocacy network.
- Lead 360-degree communications campaigns and the coalitions' building strategy.
- Gain the goodwill of key stakeholders, influencing positive agenda setting around relevant business issues and increasing the Company's reputation, as well as brands' and categories positive positioning, especially among opinion elites/shapers.
- Create the right public opinion environment to avoid any type of discriminatory measures by leading our Corporate Reputation messaging to protect/promote our business, our brands, and our Company, balancing the debate on a continuous basis.
- Provide strategic leadership to the Bottler´s Communications Teams focused to enhance our business reputation, further our growth and maximize our joint influence in our business environment.
- Foster the reputation of our business in South through the design and implementation of the communications plans on sustainability, involving bottlers, other functions, and key stakeholders.
- Build and manage relationship with media outlets in the South region.
- Design and implement in coordination with LA OU contingency and crisis management plans to anticipate solutions and protect the business in the country.
- Manage the implementation of the external & internal communications plans, in coordination with the LA OU communication guidelines.
**Qualification & Requirements**
- +8 years of corporate communications experience, with strong background in managing crisis, media communications and leadinging brand reputation strategy
- Working knowledge of the national/regional media scene as well as a sound understanding of business economics
- Fluent Portuguese and English.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communications skills
- High level of influence and engagement with stakeholders
- Ability to interact across the network with senior leaders within the business with clarity and confidence.
- Strong ability to work agilely in different teams, both inside & outside of the system
- Strong people management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
