For our latest expansion into the vibrant market of Brazil we are looking for a Community Manager (Games) to help us engage with the player community, to support further development of our social media and communication campaigns, and to help our Dev team elevate the game and overall experience.
**About the role**
As a full time/remote (working from Brazil) Community Manager at our company, you will be responsible for managing our community in Brazil on Discord and other social platforms and gaming forums. The primary goal is to foster a positive and engaging environment for our members and followers while keeping them informed about our initiatives.
*Please note that this is a **remote, full-time** position, limited just to **residents of South America**. **Proficiency in Portuguese** and English (Spanish is a strong plus), and understanding of gaming is a must for this role.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Community Engagement**: Interact with our community on Discord and social media platforms. Respond to comments and queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.
- **Content Creation**: Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news). Organize regular community events and initiatives to keep members engaged and informed.
- **Community Growth**: Implement strategies to grow and expand our community on Discord platforms. This may include partnerships, promotions, collaborations,, events, contests and so on
- **Community Moderation**: Oversee and control the conversation within the community to ensure guidelines and rules are adhered to. Manage conflicts and handle community disputes diplomatically.
- **Feedback Analysis**: Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews from the community. Liaise with the team to ensure community feedback is acknowledged and considered in our products/services development
- Work closely with **Game Development Team** to make sure community needs and aligned with development decisions
- **Performance Tracking**: Monitor and analyze the success of community engagement (e.g., return on investment and member acquisition), using community engagement tools, social media marketing tools, and Google Analytics.
**Requirements**:
- Native Portuguese speaker, with good verbal and written command in English; Spanish is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in community management in the video game industry
- Passion for gaming
- Knowledge of forums, social media administration and best practices, and content creation tools
- Experience with Discord
- Ability to plant content delivery and to accommodate product deadlines
- Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics
- Experience with gaming trends
- Ability to interpret website traffic
- Understanding of crypto
