**Job Description**:
Client Services works with issuers, acquirers, processors and merchants worldwide to develop and deliver the support model for Visa Inc.
This includes day-to-day operations and product support, back office support and customer performance reporting.
Client Services includes Rules Management function which supports the structural foundation of the Visa Payments network.
Rules & Compliance team works to ensure the safety, security and integrity of the payment system and to support Visa clients in the development of their electronic payments business.
Specifically, team establishes and enforces common interoperable rules and standards for our products and services by which clients must operate their Visa programs.
**Role,**
This is an operational role, to provide support with respect to the Notification Process by initiating and monitoring notification notices that meet the regulatory and strategic compliance objectives of Visa and its Clients with respect to the Visa Charter Documents, Visa Core Rules & Product and Service Rules and associated Supplemental Requirements and the "Visa do Brasil Regulamento" (here called Visa Rules) and the various laws governing the Payment System in Brazil.
The jobholder works independently under moderate supervision.
The role holder will influence others job functions with regard to the practices, policies and procedures to do with rule compliance.
The role is primarily accountable for support with the team's initiatives/tasks in the LAC region with focus on the Brazilian market addressing all inquiries and all potential violations and all other aspects of the Visa Rules.
The role will manage internal and external relations within the context of the Notification Process and escalating where appropriate to the Visa Rules Management senior management with the intention of ensuring mínimal brand and reputational risk exposure to the Visa enterprise.
The jobholder works on smaller projects under moderate supervision.
The compliance issues are not typically complex but may require understanding of other job areas.
The function will interact with Visa staff and Clients to facilitate compliance with the Visa Rules.
**Essential Functions**
The jobholder will support the Notification Process and monitor, investigate and validate the compliance status of Clients and where necessary to pursue corrective, and negotiated action, with the Clients to bring them into compliance following the rules as appropriate.
The role is responsible and accountable for,
- Ensuring the initiation, monitoring, and tracking of all notification notices that meet the regulatory and strategic objectives of Visa.
- Responsible for ensuring all management information statistics and performance criteria and trends are collated, analyzed, published and fed back to team members to help define the compliance strategy for Visa.
- Ensuring that Clients are compliant to the rules and to monitor, investigate and validate the compliance status of Clients and where necessary to pursue corrective, and negotiated action, with the Clients to bring them into compliance following the rules as appropriate.
- Responsible for providing prompt, accurate responses to questions about Merchant Location & Marketplace Program rules
- Managing internal and external relations within the context of compliance enforcement and processes escalating where appropriate to the Visa Rules Management senior management with the intention of ensuring mínimal brand and reputational risk exposure to the Visa enterprise.
- Participating in the development and execution of activities and programs aimed at improving Client and/or internal satisfaction.
- Supporting the development and implementation of departmental procedures - especially with respect to LAC/Brazil.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and other entities as it relates to the responsibilities of the Visa Rules Management team.
