Our direct import division and global associates enhance the value we offer to customers.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role - preference for South America or Asia - for a Compliance Auditor at Laminate Technologies Inc.A Compliance Auditor is responsible for ensuring that Laminate Technologies overseas suppliers adhere to the various regulatory requirements for importing products into the US, and ensure compliance to the country laws in which the supplier is located at. In addition, the supplier must also meet Laminate Technologies policies on Corporate Stewardship program. This position will also be responsible for performing audits, reviewing documentation, and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote the best practices in relation to formaldehyde emissions, Corporate Stewardship program and raw material traceability - LAMTRACK®, plus developing audit reports with finding and corrective actions. Additionally, the Compliance auditor will be responsible to follow up on corrective action plans with Laminate Technologies suppliers to ensure that identified non-conformities are addressed in a timely manner.QualificationsRegulatory Compliance and Quality Auditing skillsStrong Analytical SkillsEffective Communication abilities in EnglishAble to communicate in other languages, such as Chinese, French or Portuguese a plus.Experience in auditing processesAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of industry regulations and standardsBachelor's degree in a relevant fieldISO 9001 / ISO 14001 - preferred CARB/EPA - preferred FSC- preferred WagesUSD1,400.00 - USD1,900.00 per monthEligible for Profit Sharing (paid quarterly)Eligible for Gain Sharing (based on achievement of goals)
