A Snapshot of Your DayYou will become part of and learn from a global team of experts in Compliance Investigations and Case Handling.You will have multiple different opportunities in Latin America and around the world to grow from this position.This position is a natural platform for and springboard to bigger and/or management roles within Legal & Compliance.How You'll Make an ImpactManaging, conducting, and reporting on all assigned compliance investigations, including complex and sensitive cases with possible criminal and/or disciplinary consequences across different levels within the organization.Collaborate and align with the Legal & Compliance team globally—with a special focus on Compliance colleagues in the Americas—in the execution of compliance investigations, including plausibility checks into alleged violations.Adept at working, collaborating, and guiding colleagues of all levels of the company, from Senior Management to workers located on-site in remote locations around the globe.Provide support, training, guidance, and direction in the analysis and investigation of highly complex compliance-related matters to less-experienced LC colleagues within Europe.As necessary, serve as the Legal & Compliance Investigations representative in Europe, especially when interacting with senior management and external entities, including public and private sector investigative agencies.What You BringEducation: Bachelor/Master's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Political Science, or similar fields from a reputable university or college.
Additional degree or certification in forensics, accounting, or law is an advantage.Experience: Professional experience in the listed duties and responsibilities with verified experience in conducting international, financial, criminal investigations, including professional experience in conducting internal compliance investigations in a corporate environment, preferably with a multi-national company.Language: Business-level fluency in writing, reading, and speaking English required; fluency in Portuguese; strong command of Spanish is preferred.Technical Skills: Professional experience with and high aptitude for IT forensic review and investigative data analytics, including versatility in specific investigative IT applications and software.Diverse intellectual and cultural curiosity; self-motivator in a remote working environment.Willingness to travel (internationally) up to 30%.About the TeamWe are a truly global team of lawyers and investigators responsible for handling all compliance allegations around the world.
