Join us in shaping our future–and yours.What you will doThe Buyer, NA Chemicals is responsible for:Supporting the development and execution of category practices for selected categories, including support of sourcing strategy definition, sourcing project execution and stakeholder alignment.Driving and supporting the execution of the sourcing projects and is the point of interaction between the Category Managers and the procurement operations team and supply chain.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, organize, and analyze procurement data related to the category, including spend data, supplier performance data, and contract data to identify opportunities for negotiation and cost savings.Operations (RFQs, Market events, price forecasting, PPV tracking, cost saving project management and delivery) and analytics and system updates (Pendulum, MMF, Planisware, etc.).Lead regional negotiations for selected suppliers and assigned sub-categories.Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the procurement function.Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate procurement performance and provide insights to stakeholders.Collaborate with procurement professionals and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.Ensure robust supplier management & supply performance management, including (where needed) leading supply issue resolutions collaborating with procurement colleagues, regional Material Supply Management, Rapid Response Teams, and Technical/Quality partners.Contribute to the global strategy for sub-categories in scope by providing regional input.Develop and maintain procurement data models to support strategic decision-making.Identify and implement process improvements to streamline procurement data management and analysis.Monitor industry trends and developments to identify emerging opportunities and risks in the category.What we are looking forRequired QualificationsExperience in managing supplier relationships and conducting negotiationsKnowledge and experience of SAP and/or MRP/ERP related systems is a plusStrong communication skillsStrong understanding of costs, working capital, and other financial metricsAbility to coordinate multiple projects and programsKnowledge and use of eProcurement and eSourcing methodologyAbility to work across regions globally with competing priorities is a plus.Desired QualificationsExperience in managing supplier relationships and conducting negotiationsKnowledge and experience of SAP and/or MRP/ERP related systems is a plusStrong communication skillsStrong understanding of costs, working capital, and other financial metricsAbility to coordinate multiple projects and programsKnowledge and use of eProcurement and eSourcing methodologyAbility to work across regions globally with competing priorities is a plus.What's in it for youCompetitive Benefit PackagePaid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time & More!Learning & Development OpportunitiesEmployee Resource GroupsThis list could vary based on location/regionKenvue is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
