In this role, you will need a strong mechanical background, an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality, and a focus on client engagement. You will guide our engineering, construction management, and superintendent teams to achieve project goals. Additional Responsibilities Maintain preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans; project scopes of work; budgets; and schedules.Manage vendor and subcontractor invoicing and client billing in coordination with accounting.Monitor project costs and field conditions, and ensure changes are fully reflected in cost reports.Monitor design content and coordinate design revisions for constructability and compliance.Coordinate the construction schedule with design, commissioning, and qualification schedule requirements.Mitigate project risks (if any are identified) in partnership with senior leadership.Lead the established site safety program in your area and monitor performance with the CMs and Superintendents on site.Interact regularly with the client, listening and ensuring that their needs are met with a focus on the IPS client experience.Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients, as you develop solutions, all while building life-impacting facilities. Qualifications & Requirements:15+ years of experience in project delivery or a related discipline.Experience managing mechanical construction (HVAC, chilled water, steam, etc.) for multi-million-dollar projects.Supervisory and business development experience.OSHA 30 or ability to obtain and maintain. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.Experience in construction of pharmaceutical, bio-tech and/or life science facilities.Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients, team building, and strong work ethic.Must be able to build rapport with project staff. Safety This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project.You may be assigned to client site for an extended period of time.Overnight travel or staying in the city of Client's location is possible depending on assignment.You will visit Client sites and will be required to adhere to stated safety rules. This position is a safety sensitive position. The employee is considered a field contractor supervisor and acts in a supervisory role for field work for IPS employees or subcontractors.
