**Position Summary**
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for establishes relationships with physicians, maintaining and documenting all promotional activities for the Alexion products to physicians in a defined geographic territory.
Develop and direct sales strategies at key accounts assigned in the territory.
**Main responsibilities**
- Creates and maintains strategically targeted account-specific business plans that reflect an in-depth understanding of local market forces and the patient's journey.
- Identify business opportunities in the territory, acting quickly and effectively.
- Promote and/or participate in medical events related.
- Effectively manage time, resources and workload
- Tracks activities and submits reports on sales activities accurately & on-time
- Review and propose improvements in the medical panel Brazil, focusing on maintaining the treatments provided by Alexion.
- Develop and maintain strong in-depth clinical, technical, and scientific knowledge of the diseases and products worked by Alexion.
- Work with the highest degree of professionalism and in accordance with the company's policies and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
- Build trusting relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, and proactively interacts with cross-functional team to refine product and market initiatives.
**Essential Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree (administration, marketing or health care)
- Experience as a representative or consultant in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
- Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical sales experience (oncology, hospital, immunology, transplants, etc.)
- Valid national driver's license (CNH)
- Ability to travel within territory on a regular basis which will include frequent overnight and weekend travel
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Intermediate level English
- Master's degree
- Sales experience in the orphan or ultra-orphan area
