Consumer Research Sales Specialist (Pricing)About this jobThe BASES Line & Price practice runs industry-leading simulated test market solutions to consult manufacturers and retailers on product innovation, assortment, pricing, promotion, and price pack architecture.As a specialist, you will discuss with our clients in LATAM their business challenges in your area of expertise and design approaches on how to best address those, jumping between methodology expertise and business strategy. Internally, you will partner with our commercial teams, data science, and operations to make things happen.A specialist is on top of industry trends and topics in their practice area; and applies knowledge not only to clients in discussions but also produces relevant thought leadership and drives knowledge in our commercial organization.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand client business strategies and formulate a plan for client engagement, building and maintaining working relationships with clients.Proposal development for relevant opportunities, developing a full understanding of NIQBASES Line & Price practice value proposition.Partner with customer success, data science, and operations to effectively translate client/proposal requirements for relevant projects and engagements.Drive profitable growth, delivering revenue targets based on retaining subscription revenue and generating new business, both within existing accounts and across new clients.Partner with commercial and product leadership for product updates or new product launches.Identify important thought leadership/meta-analytic topics that would help advance the practice.Relevant experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods.Experience either in revenue management roles at manufacturers or at suppliers/consultancies advising manufacturers on revenue management, pricing, and assortments.A strong understanding of consumer research, pricing modelling, and marketing mix modelling and/or volumetric forecasting is beneficial.Comfortable in both worlds: you enjoy connecting with people, and you are a compelling speaker. At the same time, you are comfortable leading discussions on advanced modelling topics.What requires your attention changes fast.
