About TV Plus: TV Plus is Samsung's streaming video service that offers ad-supported linear channels and Video on Demand (VOD).
It's currently experiencing significant growth and development, aiming to expand its reach and improve user experiences.
Role Summary: As a Content and Product Operations Supervisor , your primary responsibility is to ensure that TV Plus delivers a premium viewing experience to its users in the LATAM region.
You will oversee the entire content lifecycle—from initial preparation and ingestion to the end-user playback experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the scheduling and timely launch of new channels, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
This involves coordinating with various teams to keep launches on track and proactively identifying potential delays.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate schedules for each channel, using internal tracking systems.
This ensures all departments have access to up-to-date channel specifications and a reliable historical record.
Perform rigorous quality checks by actively viewing pre-launch channels on Samsung TVs to identify any issues.
Collaborate closely with internal QA teams, reviewing their logs and ensuring any flagged issues are resolved before launch.
Manage the flow of essential assets, including video files, captions, graphics, and metadata, among internal teams and third-party vendors.
Ensure all necessary materials are correctly formatted and ready for channel launches.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, technical teams, and customer support, to drive execution and improvements.
Identify opportunities to streamline operations and enhance efficiency during this critical growth phase.
Conduct post-launch checks to ensure quality control, identify any potential issue and actively address monetization concerns to maintain optimal performance and revenue flow.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent related work experience required Bilingual in English and Portuguese Prior experience in content and product operations, preferably within the streaming video or digital media industry.
Familiarity with content management systems and understanding of end-to-end content workflows.
Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.
