Paralegal type work would be a plus.With Procurement Manager's assistance, prepare and maintain project procurement planReview and assist with preparation of Single Source JustificationsReview and assist with preparation of Scope of Work documentsBuyer/expediting duties within services and equipment on behalf of client with coordination between the multiple teamsEstablish Negotiation Plans and conduct or participate in negotiationsManage the RFP process, including commercial evaluations and pre-bid meetingsProcess change orders, RFIs and submittalsAssist with, and when appropriate, implement new contractprocess controlsCommunicate on a regular basis regarding Procurement mattersProduce and compile accurate reports for the project team, stakeholders and clientsIdentify and continually propose industry standards/improve processesConduct price analysis, modeling, purchase-price cost analysis and identify competitive benchmarksChange orders management and processing the amendment documentationProactive and strong contract management required during all construction and equipment manufacturing/delivering processQualifications Experience in Construction is desired.Five to ten years of experience in procurement and contractadministration, working on a variety of projects to include technology-based clientsStrong understanding of contractrequirements and the preparation of RFXs/RFIsAbility to build strong cross-functional relationshipsAbility to establish and build successful supplier relationships**MUST HAVE Experience with equipment buying and expeditingEffective time management and organizational skillsProficiency and experience with various procurement methodologies and sourcing techniquesAbility to operate and execute effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and challenging deadlinesExperience with SAP/ARIBA is a differentialExcellent written and verbal communication, influencing and persuasion skillsProficient in both Portuguese and English, Spanish will be a plusAdditional Information At Turner & Townsend we want our people to succeed in both work and life, we promote a healthy, productive and flexible environment.#LI-NK1Join our social media conversations for more information about Turner & Townsend and our exciting future projects:It is strictly against Turner & Townsend policy for candidates to pay any fee in relation to our recruitment process.
