Experience leading and managing underwriters
Experience partnering with sales or marketing teams to share insights which help drive qualified leads
Very strong written and verbal communication in English
Deep understanding of data sources available to assist in underwriting
Deep understanding of customer financial information and which information can be considered reliable and which is most predictive of risk
Lending experience in other Latin American countries is a positive but not required
Ability to synthesize data/info into concise summary and provide defensible recommendation
Ability to assess underwriting processes and identify process efficiency improvements
Drive process improvement and boost team performance
