A better future?Job Title: Control Tower AnalystThe Control Tower Analyst is responsible for managing and coordinating spot shipments across multiple modes of transportation, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery in accordance with Lear procedures and regulations.Responsibilities:Coordinate the delivery of Lear equipment across Europe according to the requirements of each plant.Ensure all shipments adhere to Lear company procedures, regulations and standards.Develop a deep understanding of Lear's network, including routes, warehouses, facilities and customs brokers.Serve as primary contact for carriers, customers and suppliers.Address and resolve shipment issues or delays and implement corrective actions.Maintain accurate shipment records, including tracking, invoices and compliance documentation.Analyze and report shipment performance metrics.Audit transport invoices.Identify and implement improvements to enhance control tower operations.Requirements:Degree in engineering, supply chain, business or related field (major in logistics preferred).Fluent in English; Spanish and any other language would be a plus.Preferred Qualifications:Initial work experience in a logistics, control tower environment or working for a carrier.Experience managing road, air, sea and rail shipments.Experience using Traffic Management Systems (TMS).
