SAP applications and services enable customers to operate profitably, adapt continuously, and grow sustainably.PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVESThe Project Controlling COE Team (CoE PCO) is part of the Business Area Controlling Team and supports the Services Management Team, Delivery Management teams as well as the Business Area Controllers on local, regional, and global levels.
They provide financial insight and guidance throughout the project life cycle and visibility of any financial impact to market unit profit and loss position.
The team supports Project Managers and Delivery Execution teams to successfully deliver projects while focusing on profitability and financial compliance.Key Skill Set required:Commercial and deal execution support - Support deals at Bid Phase from a financial and accounting perspective.Act as an adviser to Project managers to set up the right financial steering model in the monitoring phase.Evaluation of project forecasts and engagement in financial closing activities to identify potential financial risks and ensure correct project accounting.Drive transparency of project financial impacts on the forecast to ensure forecast reliability.Provide financial analysis to top management to aid with customer negotiations and business steering decisions.Provide financial transparency at global and regional level and market unit for strategic customer accounts.Drive standardization and improvement of business operations, controlling, and delivery processes that promote better financial steering and management of projects.Perform trainings and enablement on the rollout of new processes and tools.Drive compliance and correct account postings in liaison with Revenue Recognition, Corporate Audit, and CFR teams.Act as a role model for using our own SAP products, as a catalyst for increased financial monitoring efficiency.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESUniversity degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.Good knowledge of the SAP Services business.Strong communication skills (in English) and the ability to understand complex frameworks.Excellent financial and analytical skills.Strong conceptual and structured work style, strong sense of prioritization, results, and execution focused.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and writing skills to successfully interact with colleagues and executive management.Excellent skills in diagnosing inefficiencies in business processes and driving corrective actions.Business level English, additional languages a plus.Good knowledge in MS Office applications (Excel/PowerPoint), SAP ERP, and SAP BO tools.Experience in Revenue Accounting (RAR) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) a plus.WORK EXPERIENCEProfessional work experience with a strong focus on controlling processes.Experience in SAP Services Business is an added advantage.LOCATION: Brazil (in São Paulo only) or any other country in Latin America.Bring out your bestSAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
