Controlling Analyst, Fortune 500

Environment: Fortune 500 Company Location: Fully Remote in Brazil (São Paulo preferably or anywhere on the East and Midwest time zones) Key skills required: Accounting & month end close Language requirement: Fluent in English and Portuguese Employment type: Independent Contractor (Temporary assignment of 6+ months) Key Responsibilities: • Take the lead in cleaning up and streamlining accounting records across various areas of the Balance Sheet, ensuring accuracy and up to date information across all related areas. • Perform reconciliation, address discrepancies to ensure reliable records. • Prioritize key payment to vendors while ensuring continuous relationship with vendors, focusing on effective communication to maintain seamless payment clearing. - Work with the country controller of a Fortune 500 and serve as a trusted - ?Partner with the country controller to ensurecohesive and reliable financial record, in line with group and local standards. Key Requirements: - 3+ years of experience working in Accounting / Controllership - Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken in both languages) - Experience in month end close, Accounting and P2P processes at a large company - Big 4 background is a big plus - Experience working with Oracle EBS Personality profile: - Motivated and can do attitude with good communication capabilities - ?Problem Solver, Self-Starter and Hard-Working - ?Good team spirit and roll-up your sleeves attitude This is a fully remote opportunity for a temporary assignment (independent contractor) working for a Fortune 500 company on a full time basis (45 hours per week or more, as necessary).
