Controls/Scada Engineer - São José Dos Campos

Job Title: Controls/SCADA Engineer - São José dos Campos Job Summary: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electrotechnical, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar relevant degree and previous working experience as a Controls/SCADA Engineer. Preferred Experience: Working experience with PLC programming; Siemens is preferred. Working experience and knowledge of PLC/NC/CNC based equipment integration and data capture from equipment. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols like OPC UA and MQTT. Working experience with equipment vendors to identify tags and information needed for equipment integration. Ability to read and modify equipment electrical control panel drawings. Knowledge of wiring electrical control panels. Working knowledge of connectivity gateways like Kepware and/or Siemens Brownfield. Working knowledge of SCADA platforms like Ignition or other SCADA solutions. Strong problem-solving and communication skills in English. Experience with Siemens Brownfield gateway and Insight Hub is a plus. Knowledge of event-driven architecture like unified namespace and microservices will be considered a plus. Fluency in English is necessary.
