It is an Engineering department dedicated to develop and implement Gas Combustion,Thermal and Structural solutions to all Cooking (Freestanding + Cooktops) projectsaround the Globe. The intern will be part of the Cooking Subsystems Team inJoinville and will drive Components and Subassemblies specification as well asDesign Verification Plan, Execution and Implementation management. The intern willbe involved mainly on development and execution of the strategy for ProductAttributes, Requirements and Subsystem Component/Interfaces Roadmap related toStructural, Thermal & Gas engineering and that affects product performance ,quality and cost. The Intern will support Projects from Subsystems standpoint, inorder to create the subsystems and components specs in order to reach productattributes and roadmap targets.Working hoursMONDAY TO FRIDAY, 09:00AM - 5:00pmMake technical specification of structural, thermal and gas components forcooktops, ovens andfreestandings;Follow-up time and action plan;Identify cost & quality opportunities within project scope;Manage the list of Subsystem components;Problem solving and components optimization through simulation and experiments;Support implementation of projects;Communication & collaboration with engineers in other sites/countries;Guarantee time and action plan compliance for each project under his/herresponsibility;Preview and indicate opportunities and possible problems at the projects;Develop solutions for problems identified and present concurrent designs;Deliver on time simulations, specifications and projects;Clear and logical information quality on presentations; It is expected a high level of autonomy after ramp up;The intern will use platforms such as Ansys and Creo (3D modeling); Also the intern will support Engineers (or even will be the focal point / leaderinside Subsystem) in projects to improve quality, optimize cost or implement newtechnologies or innovation at Whp products
