Purpose
Lead the Maintenance Engineering team to ensure machinery and assembly line efficiency, applying Professional Maintenance (PM) principles. Collaborate with Operative Maintenance to develop long-term solutions for the Powertrain Plant and enhance maintenance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Maintenance Engineering team and drive team development.
Ensure machinery and assembly line functionality using PM (Professional Maintenance) methodologies.
Optimize spare parts and equipment systems to meet plant needs.
Actively engage in global maintenance networks and align with global strategies.
Manage Maintenance KPIs and ensure they align with plant priorities.
Develop maintenance plans and implement best practices.
Oversee preventive maintenance, focusing on Early Equipment Management (EEM).
Support Manufacturing Engineering with technical solutions for new projects.
Lead problem-solving efforts and promote continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields (postgraduate in Maintenance, Manufacturing, or Projects is a plus).
Considerable experience in a Maintenance Management role.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and culture leadership.
Experience in change management and ability to drive performance improvements.
Knowledge of Lean, WCM, and Industry 4.0 tools.
Proficiency in English and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Knowledge of safety, environmental legislation, and Volvo Group values.
