JOB SUMMARY Cello TM is a unique product line that provides solutions for automating standard cell layout development, allowing IP providers and foundries to improve layout design quality and time-to-market for mature and advanced technology nodes. The EDA group is looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills to act as Corporate Application Engineers (CAE) for Cello TM product line. As a CAE you will work closely with Field Application Engineers (FAE) and R&D teams to assist crafting new solutions and supporting customer demands. This position requires understanding of VLSI layout design, experience in scripting languages such as Python and TCL, and strong interest in developing automated solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing scripts, analyzing layout quality, and writing product documentation. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include but not limited to: Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions, communicate technical requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement in the product workflow.Provide primary product debugging, testing new features, and profile tool performance and capabilities.Develop, maintain, and document automation flows that are part of the product templates.Elaborate and maintain training materials, technical product reports, and documentation. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE BS/MS/PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering.Typically requires a minimum of 3+ years' experience with scripting.Proficiency with scripting languages, such as TCL, BASH, and PythonExperience with Unix environment, GitHub, and system tools.Understanding of layout design and transistor level circuit design is desirable.Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
