WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a Cost Manager, you will be responsible for managing and tracking product cost
along the product development process, leading cross-functional project teams to
methods, systems and processes.

IN DETAIL, YOU WILL:
- Track product cost and manage potential deviations during product development
phases to ensure we reach our targets for Business Case profit;
- Work with Business Area and Product Line to define specification and top-down
cost targets;
- Gather proposals, specifications, historical data, market trends and should-cost
data, interfacing with stakeholders to determine bottom-up cost targets;
- Lead the product cost workstream within the cross-functional project team to
track cost, evaluate and close the gap between top-down and bottom-up cost
targets;
- Align with stakeholders and support management decisions by providing
appropriate cost information and data;
- Prepare documentaion to share cost assessment and development in accordance with
standard procedures;
- Work alongside purchasing and suppliers, analyzing supplier quotes and ensuring
an optimal quotation that meets product cost target;
- Promote and ensure good costing practices, fostering the development of costing
capabilities among stakeholders, cross-functionally;
- Lead implementation of innovation tools and methods within each Product Line;
prepare and maintain reliable and accurate data.
- Elaborate and deliver functional and project cost KPIs, taking action to ensure
goals are met, aiming for cost excellence for the company.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean
Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
WHO YOU ARE:
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Administration, Operations
Research or Mathematics;
- Solid experience with product costing/cost engineering in a product development
context (preferably in manufacturing environment);
- Experience with automated cost models, database, factors and/or estimation
tools;
- Knowledge of key functional areas in product development (Purchasing,
Manufacturing, Project Management, Controlling, Quality Management, R&D);
- Knowledge of project management methodologies;
- Knowledge of costing tools (e. g. TcPCM, aPriori) is a plus;
- Advanced Office skills;
- Advanced English.

YOU WILL BE BASED AT THE CURITIBA ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE.
LOCATED IN PRADO VELHO, IT IS A NEW ELECTROLUX LOCATION DESIGNED FROM THE START TO ALLOW FOR MORE EFFICIENT, CONNECTED AND FLEXIBLE COLLABORATION BETWEEN ELECTROLUX-S SUPPORT TEAMS.
IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO BE AVAILABLE FOR NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL TRAVELING.
