Country Manager Brazil - Atradius CollectionsAtradius CollectionsAtradius Collections provides efficient, quick and flexible solutions to collect domestic and international trade debts. With a global network of collections specialists, lawyers and insolvency practitioners worldwide, Atradius Collections serves over 15,000 customers, supporting them to reduce client's trade risks through our efficient Business to Business focused trade invoice collections services such as Standby Services, Invoice Verification and Factoring transactions. Atradius Collections is a business unit of Atradius Group, which forms part of Grupo Catalana Occidente, one of the leading insurers in Spain and worldwide in credit insurance.Department DescriptionAs Country Manager for Brazil, you will be responsible for driving and managing delivery of the P&L targets within the location as well as the overall management of staff, including Operations, Client Relations and direct management of Sales team. Responsibilities will include:To be the key contact for local stakeholders; Atradius Credit Insurance (ACI); customers; channel partners; trade associations etc.Responsible for building internal relationships with ACI country management as well as streamlining service delivery to insured customers in order increase inflow and revenue from the insured business line.To drive the delivery of Collections key priorities within the location in order to generate sales & Inflow, improve operational business processes in order to provide optimal customers service and maximise profit.You will implement and embed global processes and procedures in line with the local requirements as well as localise and implement global program initiatives within the location.To develop and monitor reporting and analysis of MI for the location.To ensure pro-active communication and performance in case handling.You will be directly responsible for increasing profitable inflow and new business from non-insured customers and segments within the location with specific focus on channels, shared service and large, multi-national organisations.To work closely alongside the Regional Manager, Iberia in order to strengthen and streamline the commercial activities within the wider region and optimise efficiency of existing commercial capacity as well as generate and develop new business and inflow within the region.Requirements for the jobAn entrepreneurial and results focused leader, you will have strong experience in managing the profit & loss results of a business in order to achieve business targets.You will have excellent organisational and management skills with the proven ability to lead and motivate a team in order to achieve profitability.Willing and able to share knowledge and coaching skills in order to motivate and develop your teams to energise them for delivery.Proven commercial experience in selling credit and/or collections management services to the multi-national, factoring and SME target segments.Good experience in managing and steering sales teams in order to maximise results and optimise commercial management processes.Strong knowledge and experience of the Portuguese markets.You will have a background in debt collections, credit management, credit insurance or factoring and understanding how our debt collections services can be of value to the related target segments.Strong internal working experience in a multinational business service environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and be able to adapt and present messages to different audiences.You will be able to analyse and question data, identifying trends and interpreting findings in order to drive business performance.Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and achieve deadlines.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages in particular including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.You will be willing to travel Internationally.Strong academic background or equivalent work experience.Alongside your native tongue, you will have excellent language skills in English.What do we offer?A dynamic, international and challenging work environment.Training and support to reach your full potential including the opportunity for continuous professional development.Attractive terms and conditions, including competitive salary commensurate with experience and annual bonus potential.Equal opportunities for allThe success of our organization stands with the quality of our people and the ideas they have.
