About the role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Country Manager to lead our operations in France. As the Country Manager, you will be responsible for successfully launching and managing our business in the market, driving growth, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
What You'll Do: Act as project manager for the launch preparation, coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the process. Assist in onboarding Payment Service Providers (PSPs), providing recommendations on optimal payment methods. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify market requirements and define a best-in-class product and proposition. Collaborate with external agencies to develop and execute marketing strategies for brand introduction and positioning. Coordinate with the development and legal departments to ensure the product is complete, fit for purpose, and compliant. Make sure that the site is well localized for target GEOs. Deliver quarterly marketing strategies, encompassing above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) channels. Collaborate with the Performance Marketing team to set budgets and goals. Analyze business and marketing data to evaluate campaign effectiveness, providing clear and concise reports to identify areas of improvement. Work with the customer marketing team and Head of Casino to develop CRM and customer retention plans. Collaborate with the development team to create a roadmap for product development to exceed market expectations. Ensure compliance with licensing objectives, working closely with legal, compliance, and operations teams. Assume full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for the market, achieving results within the established budget and targets. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the market, covering various communication channels such as TV, online, PR, affiliations, events, and social media. Collaborate with operational teams to support the specific country market and optimize efficiency. Plan, negotiate, and oversee media buying, SEO and all other traffic sources, either directly or through media agencies. Stay updated on market trends, competition, and regulatory landscape. Advise operational teams on team structure for efficient market operations, collaborating with function heads and directors to attract and retain top talent. Create and implement a financial plan and projection, being responsible for KPIs and results of specific markets. Drive outsourcers teams and agencies involved to achieve the desired results. The main idea of this role is to drive as many customers as possible to the site and get them well-treated for the target GEOs you're responsible for. About You: 2+ years of proven experience in successfully launching and managing businesses in new markets within the iGaming industry Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of the payments industry and experience with onboarding PSPs. Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks, translating requirements into actions. Demonstrated expertise in market research and developing compelling product offerings. Experience working with external agencies on marketing strategy and brand positioning. Solid understanding of product development, compliance, and market expectations. Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies. Strong analytical skills to assess campaign effectiveness and identify improvements. Experience in CRM and customer retention planning. Knowledge of licensing objectives and regulatory compliance. Proven P&L management and budget achievement. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills. Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving market. Fluency in French and proficiency in English.
