POSITION OBJECTIVES: The Treasurer and credit manager is responsible for the monitoring of the company's cash inflows and outflows. The role involves managing liquidity, anticipating financial needs, and ensuring the company's financial operations align with its strategic goals and with internal controls. The role involves as well managing the customer credit risk and ensuring timely collections working closely with the sales and finance departments to optimize cash flow. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Treasury : Financial Negotiations: Engage in negotiations with financial institutions for financing, leasing operations, letters of guarantee, guarantee insurance, letters of credit, and guaranteed accounts. Cash Flow Management: Track weekly cash movements, develop and maintain detailed cash flow projections to manage liquidity and inform strategic financial decisions. Hedging Operations: Perform closing, control, and monitoring of hedging activities with banking institutions to protect against financial risks. International Funds Management: Handle the payment and receipt of funds for international transactions Financial Reporting: Compile and prepare financial reports for group-level analysis Credit : Global Customer Risk Management: Oversee and analyze the entire customer credit portfolio, ensuring control over outstanding amounts and accurately identifying credit limits. Commercial Team Support: Provide essential support and guidance to the sales teams regarding credit policies, helping to define credit terms that align with business strategies. Payment Collection Assurance: Implement effective strategies to ensure the timely collection of customer payments Negotiations with Stakeholders: Negotiate terms with credit insurer and collaborate with sales forces to optimize credit conditions and minimize risk. Financial Reporting: Compile and prepare financial reports for group-level analysis SKILLS AND PRE-REQUISITES : - Complete higher education in Accounting, Administration or related areas - Advanced English - Advanced Excel - Availability for face-to-face work in Curitiba/PR - Differential to have experience with transactions of international companies Experience required: at least 5 years in the treasury area.
