We're targeting to have 1000 people globally by 2030 to support our expansion plans in current locations as well as additional territories.If you want to play an integral part in achieving our ambitious plans for growth and delivering an exceptional consultancy service for our clients in the LATAM & NA region, whilst progressing your own career in a supportive and dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!Job Description: The CSA Superintendent will oversee and manage the civil, structural, and architectural aspects of construction projects on-site, ensuring that all activities are executed efficiently and in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.Key Responsibilities Project Coordination: Set up, chair, and document all client meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders are fully informed.Report weekly to the Project Manager on scope, budget, and schedule status, and any other issues related to the construction contracts.Liaise with the Client, Professional Team, and Contractor to establish and monitor key project processes, making recommendations as needed.Engage with vendors and coordinate their attendance on-site as appropriate.Risk Management: Establish, review, and regularly update the Project Risk Register.Agree on and monitor Risk Mitigation Plans and provide input into quantitative risk analysis reviews.Initiate actions or escalations for tasks falling behind and impacting the critical path.Quality Control: Monitor and report on the commissioning process, ensuring that all necessary test sheets and documentation are developed.Coordinate with the DC Operations team for their involvement in installation, commissioning, and snagging activities.Verify GC's compliance with specs and design.Manage the defect identification and resolution process, ensuring all handover activities comply with the Turn-Over process.Documentation and Reporting: Coordinate the issuance of RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and other documents, ensuring timely revisions and approvals.Prepare and issue monthly and weekly status update reports for stakeholder review.Support the change management process by clarifying scopes, justifications, and technical details with the Client, Professional Team, and Contractor.Site Management: Monitor site works, record and report non-conforming work, and drive follow-up actions.Conduct regular site quality audits and witness necessary site tests.Manage the General Contractor in preparing schedules for project handover and liaise with relevant managers to agree on these schedules.Support the GC measurements and monitor field progression.Align the construction schedule with physical progress.Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site.Team Coordination: Promote a team approach to punch-list development and use available tools for the project.Liaise with DC Operations/Security Operations to ensure systems and permits are in place for site access and remedial works post lock-down and turn-over.Perform additional duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications/ Relevant Experience 5-7 years of experience in similar responsibilities.
Mission-critical experience is a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Lean Construction Certification and/or PMP Certification is a plus.Organized and detail-oriented.#J-18808-Ljbffr
