As CTS Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for post sales support of customer issues. You will be engaged in technical support or field service and developing an operational year plan.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Owning the resolution of post-sales technical customer issues including repairs, technical support, or field service.
Specifying needs, communicating about project approach, and presenting outcomes of research done.
Handling standardized project processes.
Handling diverse clients in a region, based on predefined contracts and frameworks.
Developing an operational year plan for the department activities and suggesting improvements in products, processes, and procedures.
Compliance with HSE and Quality policies at designated site. Participate in applicable HSE programs.
Ensure Health and Safety compliance through Coiled Tubing activities to mitigate risks to personnel, equipment, and the environment.
Ensure that field activities are carried out safely, meeting quality, customer and HSE standards and company procedures.
Supervise the safe operation of all types of Coiled Tubing equipment.
Conduct effective audits of personnel involved in Coiled Tubing work, ensuring that Baker Hughes guidelines and policies are met.
Perform audits of the various jobs where Baker Hughes and its contractors perform services to request corrective actions to improve the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of the operation.
Apply Stop Work Authority to activities that compromise the integrity of personnel and equipment.
Review work programs and their compliance in the operation.
Plan and coordinate Coiled Tubing operations in the office.
Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with BH's quality of service, health, and safety standards and with the client.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive work reports.
Participate in knowledge exchange.
Maintain communication with the client's welfare site representative, rig team, and field support personnel.
Track service quality events with the operations management team and ensure that incident reports are closed in the shortest possible time with actions that prevent recurrences.
Perform daily monitoring of Coiled Tubing operations.
Prepare technical proposals for Coiled Tubing operations that will be delivered to the client.
You must have knowledge and use of some specialized Coiled Tubing software to perform simulations of Coiled Tubing stresses, well hydraulics, and fatigue.
You must provide on-site technical support to clients of the different assets you work with, either remotely or in person.
You will be required to conduct presentations and workshops to propose new Baker Hughes technologies and better alternatives for executing the work.
You will be required to liaise with onboard personnel during operations and provide technical support if required.
You will be required to provide support in various high-pressure pumping and nitrogen pumping operations.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you need:
Have a bachelor's degree in engineering.
Relevant technical subject with long-term experience in Services and Technical Support.
Be detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate experience of technical leadership.
Be successful at building relationships and collaborating to resolve problems.
Be fluent in English desired.
Be fluent in Portuguese.
