This is a key role for our growing South American sales and distribution operation, and an extension of the sales and supply chain functions.You will be responsible for:Customer focus, with the ability to predict customer needs and potential issues before they ariseWorks directly with third party logistics providers, including warehouse and transportation providers, to prepare and dispatch orders.
Chooses appropriate transportation methods from pre-qualified vendors to achieve service and cost targets.
Maintains strong working relationships with vendors and escalates as necessaryClear and positive communication style, even during difficult situations.
Uses own judgement in communicating internally and externally and deciding when to collaborate cross-functionally (e.g.
with sales team)Uses ERP system (SAP) to execute sales order processes.
Needs a good understanding of system functionality, including how data fields impact reporting, and trouble shootingResponds to customer product inquiries by researching internal database and getting input from Quality teamAbout YouBachelor's degree in foreign trade, ADM or correlated areas3 years prior experienceExperience in ERP systemsIntermediate to good MS Office skillsNative Portuguese speaker.
