We are currently seeking a

Cybersecurity Specialist

to join our growing team in Porto, Portugal.
As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to:
Deploy, manage, and support internal infrastructure.
Engage in systems and solutions design.
Contribute to safeguarding information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
Help to protect systems by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
Recognize problems by identifying abnormalities and reporting violations.
Implement security improvements by assessing the current situation, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
Determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
Upgrade systems by implementing and maintaining security controls.
Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
What we are looking for:
Degrees in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Computer Engineering are preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking technologies (routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc).
Knowledge of Security technologies (Firewall, anti-virus/malware, EDR/XDR, SIEM, IdP, certificates, etc).
Knowledge of Operating Systems (Microsoft, Linux, etc) and hardware.
Knowledge in IT and/or cyber-security management/support.
Good level of English (written/spoken).
High level of commitment, proactivity, adaptability, and versatility.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Team worker with a knowledge-sharing spirit.
Ability to establish and maintain a positive and productive relationship with all co-workers and third parties (different stakeholders' level and multi-cultural environment).
What would be a plus:
Datacenter ecosystem management and support experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services.
Spanish proficiency.
Knowledge of logging and monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix, Greylog, Prometheus, etc).
Knowledge of automation/scripting.
Knowledge of backup and restore.
