Position Purpose We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, customizing, and integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions to meet the unique needs of our business. You will work closely with stakeholders to analyse requirements, design solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of Business Central modules and features. Key Responsibilities: Development and Customization: Design, develop, and implement customizations and enhancements within Dynamics 365 Business Central. Create and modify AL code, reports, forms, and interfaces to extend system capabilities. Develop and maintain APIs, extensions, and integrations with third-party systems. System Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document requirements. Analyze business processes and propose efficient solutions using Dynamics 365 Business Central. Testing and Deployment: Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of customizations and solutions. Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Deploy solutions in development, test, and production environments, following best practices. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for Dynamics 365 Business Central, including resolving issues and optimizing performance. Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, design documents, and user guides. Train users and provide technical support as needed. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of Business Central into existing systems. Stay current with new features and updates in Dynamics 365 Business Central and propose improvements to leverage these advancements. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central development. Proven experience in AL development, C/AL programming, and extensions. Strong understanding of Business Central modules (e.g., finance, supply chain, manufacturing). Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (preferred). Other relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus. Technical Skills: Expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central configuration, customization, and integration. Strong understanding of architecture, financial management, supply chain, and manufacturing processes
