Our data mission is to develop and maintain Ebury's Data Platform and serve it to the whole company.
This platform is the backbone of Ebury: it supports internal decision making, allows us to comply with Regulatory and Financial reporting obligations, and enables commercial opportunities globally.
The Data team works closely with Compliance, Finance, and Product teams to coordinate and automate Regulatory Financial reporting across all jurisdictions as well as consolidated reports.
We also help Finance processes by automating them where possible to reduce costs and increase team efficiency.
Some of the projects we are currently working on include building regulatory reports for new product offerings, building a centralised revenue reporting framework, automating the Financial Planning of Ebury Global from the data warehouse, and enhancing visibility and automation of Financial reporting to Senior management.
As part of the team, you will: Work closely with Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineering, Compliance officers, Finance specialists, and the Financial Regulatory Reporting teamBe responsible for modelling data in our collaborative data platform to build critical regulatory and financial reportsManage end-to-end finance solutions across all jurisdictions from requirements gathering to delivering reports to finance stakeholders and auditorsMaintain and build dashboards and visualisations on the data platform using our BI tools for Senior management and finance specialistsWhat we're looking for: 2+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics - experience in Regulatory or Finance is a plus!Advanced SQL skills - must be able to read and write complex SQL queriesExperience with our modern data stack tools (a plus!)
We use dbt, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, LookerStudio), LookerStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detailThe ability to manage, organise and present data in a clear, concise and actionable formatExperience working with Python is a plusComfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding work environmentTrack record of working autonomously with strong time management skillsFluency in EnglishFinancial Reporting experience is desirable but not mandatoryFinancial Services and Capital Markets experience (FX, Payments, Money Markets, Treasury Management, etc.)
