As Senior Manager of Data & Analytics, you will spearhead the development and execution of our data and analytics strategy for Brazil, with a focus on scalability across Latin America, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization, and driving business growth through advanced analytics and insights. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the Data & Analytics strategy for Brazil, aligned with the overall business objectives and MDS D&A global organization. Champion the adoption of data-driven decision-making products across all business functions, including sales, finance, marketing, planning, order-to-cash, logistics, and manufacturing. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Data & Analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Oversee, support and lead when applicable the construction and management of a robust data lake, ensuring data quality, governance, and security are maintained at the highest standards. Develop and enforce comprehensive data governance frameworks, including data stewardship models, data lineage tracking, metadata management, and data quality controls. Implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with local regulations and other relevant privacy and security regulations across Latin America and Global standards. Lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics initiatives, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions. Technical Competencies: Cloud Platforms: Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a deep understanding of its services, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow. Data Engineering: Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies such as Databricks, Talend, and Aecorsoft, with experience in building and managing data pipelines. Programming & Scripting: Strong skills in Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and machine learning model development. Data Visualization: Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, with the ability to create insightful and interactive dashboards. Machine Learning & AI: Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) and familiarity with deploying AI models into production. Data Governance & Compliance: In-depth understanding of data governance frameworks, data privacy regulations, and best practices for ensuring data security and compliance. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience: At least 10-12 years of experience in data and analytics, with a minimum of 5-7 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of developing and implementing D&A strategies and leading high-performing teams. Experience in managing large-scale data projects and working with cross-functional teams, including working with Regional and Global teams. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Expertise in advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI, with a strong understanding of the tools and technologies in the field. Experience in Google Cloud, Databricks, Talend, and Aecorsoft or similar tools. Proficiency in data management tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Power BI). Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
