About the role The SpendHound product is quickly growing, and we are scaling our team to expand our product offering and service our growing customer base. We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our SpendHound team and play a crucial role by building and maintaining our growing set of API-based data integrations and data pipelines that power the data and insights we deliver to our customers. In This Role, You Will Build and maintain API integrations for the SpendHound product in collaboration with the Engineering team, Data team, and Product team Maintain all integration data pipelines that power the SpendHound data product Optimize our current data pipelines to be more reliable and optimized for our growing customer base and increasing data volume Develop and maintain quality assurance processes across integration workflows to ensure the ongoing availability and accuracy of our data Become an expert at solving data pipeline issues using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL Provide active data pipeline, data access, and other technical support for our Data team Play a key role in delivering a data-driven product that provides tangible value to our customers You Are Likely To Succeed If You have 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or other technical function You have 2+ years of experience working with large datasets You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related technical discipline You are familiar with Python and SQL (nice to have: PySpark, Databricks) You are familiar with web scraping practices, APIs and authentication protocols You have some understanding of working with and building data pipelines You are comfortable working with large-scale datasets using Pyspark, Pandas or SQL You are excited about solving data challenges and learning new skills You enjoy working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills For You You will have the opportunity to acquire new skills Flex PTO for any reason, including sick days (no specified limits), flexible work schedule Personal laptop Health and wellness package Remote work
