Data Engineer Junior/Mid Level for Databricks

Job Overview:

The Data Engineer Junior/Mid-Level will be instrumental in designing and implementing data pipelines within the Databricks environment and will be developed to perform pre-sales activities, gathering information to develop comprehensive solutions and proposals for clients.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and optimize data pipelines and architectures within Databricks.
Engage in pre-sales activities, including requirement gathering, solution design, and proposal development.
Collaborate with sales and data teams to ensure alignment between client needs and technical capabilities.
Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including product demonstrations and proof of concept execution.
Ensure data solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Databricks features and capabilities, as well as industry trends and best practices.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and technical documentation for internal teams and clients.

Qualifications:
Proven experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.
Background in data engineering, modeling, and access methodologies.
Some experience in pre-sales, including solution design and proposal writing. (will be a plus)
Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
Team player with a collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
