One of our claients is seeking self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and is able to multitask.
This individual will be a frontline customer service representative to address customer needs and inquiries.
This individual will also provide support to internal and external customers' needs with a proactive approach, in a professional manner.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide excellent, professional, and timely customer service whether handling customer inquiries, complaints, quotes, or support in order maintenance processes.
- Ability to successfully coordinate and collaborate between multiple departments, customers, and service providers.
- Transfer data from bill of lading to company freight operating management system.
- Collect, safekeep, and help upkeep all relevant customer data.
- Maintain open communication with customers to ensure all parties are clear in direction, whether confirming pickup/ delivery time and date, ensuring all mandatory forms are completed and attached, or if any moves need to have any specialized freight requirements or appointment.
- Assist customers in tracking and tracing their freight, when needed.
- Notify customers of Freight Availability, Capacity, and other Important Information.
- Will need to maintain knowledge of company services.
- Work and Coordinate Effectively with Dispatch Team to ensure freight is delivered on time.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Assist Management in operational KPI reports as needed.

**Requirements**:
- Must be familiar with customs documents, 7512 bonds, and clearances.
- Familiar with Container Freight Stations process and procedures
- General familiarity with commercial invoices, packing lists, house bill of ladings, master bill of ladings, and all international shipping and U.S. Customs documents.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player, prioritize, and multitask.
- Documentation and accurate data entry skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- 1-2 years of industry experience preferred.
- Customer service-oriented and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Acute attention to detail with a strong ability to prioritize and execute tasks.
- Excellent written and communication skills, able to communicate with all levels, vendors, and carriers.
- General knowledge of various modes of transportation
- Strong understanding of MS Office Programs, and Freight operating systems, such as AS400, Alpha Truck, Crowne, Freight Data, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant experience can include cartage, transportation, moving companies, customer service, logistics, line haul, intermodal, warehouse, ground operations, and dispatching air and ocean service.
