The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for working with API's system to maintain, manage, and analyze databases by entering new and updated customer, supplier, and operational information, as well as tracking system updates and their impacts.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Prepares all data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, establishing entry priorities;Assist in answering DPAX system contact emails and supplier setup/troubleshooting;Conduct ongoing meetings with the technology department to ensure the proper functioning of the system, follow up on and plan system updates, and track improvement requests for the system and databases;Enters updated information into the systems ensuring standardization for operational use and accurate interpretation of the data;Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures;Analyzes system data to provide updated information and establish improvement options using analytics tools and updated data analysis methods;Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from different systems when information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplicated or unused data;Tests DPAX system changes and upgrades to ensure compliance with requirements;Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes and updating systems when required;Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential;Develop and generate business intelligence reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Python to support data-driven decision-making;Monitor and evaluate system performance metrics to identify trends and potential issues, making recommendations for optimization;Create and maintain documentation related to data entry processes, system updates, and reporting procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer;Provide training and support to team members on data entry best practices and the use of business intelligence tools;Assist in the development and implementation of DPAX data governance policies to ensure data quality and integrity across systems.Required Skills, Education and ExperienceThe qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential duties of this position.
