Data Scientist

It takes a strong background in Data Science and Machine Learning to qualify for this job. As an applicant, we want you to be ready to discuss your experiences grappling and processing with complex data, both structured and unstructured, and the methods, experiments, and results you have built from data. You will explain not just how to build models to answer problems, but how proven models worked in silica and the real world.Responsibilities:Design and develop machine learning algorithmsDiscover, design, and develop analytical methods to support novel approaches of data and information processingPerform exploratory data analyses and generate and test working hypothesesPrepare and analyze historical data and identify patternsExplore, create, interpret and manage large datasets to achieve business goalsWork with Business Owners to respond to their business questions by employing dataQualifications:MA in Computer Science or similar relevant fieldPrevious working experience as a Machine Learning/Data EngineerStrong background in Deep Learning, Information Retrieval, or NLPStrong programming and software engineering skills (Java, C++, R, Scala, Python or equivalent)Hands-on experience with TensorFlow and KerasExperience with building products and/or services for Cloud (GCP is a plus)Prior experience with applying Big Data (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive and/or Pig, Spark) tools to large quantities of textual data is a plusExpertise in various facets of machine learning and natural language processing, such as classification, feature engineering, information extraction, structured prediction, clustering, semi-supervised learning, topic modeling, and rankingExperience with text and image processing (desired)Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skillsAdvanced English skills (written and spoken)Experience working in cloud migration (AWS to GCP) would be a plus
